Faith development in the Catholic tradition is the foundation of St. Aloysius School. Each day begins with prayer and a scripture-based reflection and ends with a community prayer, grounding our students in faith and gratitude. Every year, our eighth-grade class selects a school-wide scripture passage that, together with our St. Aloysius EAGLE Pledge, serves as a daily reminder of our mission as followers of Jesus Christ.

In addition to daily religion classes, students attend Mass each Wednesday, with individual classes taking on leadership roles. Middle school students often sit with their younger buddies, modeling reverence and active participation in the liturgy. Throughout the year, middle school students also lead all-school rosaries, and time in Eucharistic Adoration at our parish chapel is encouraged.

Beloved traditions such as the student-led Stations of the Cross, the Holy Thursday play, and the May Crowning ceremony enrich our school’s faith life. Preparation for the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion takes place in second grade, while Confirmation preparation occurs in eighth grade.
