It is a pleasure to write to the growing number of grandparents who are passionately committed to St. Aloysius School. We are excited to announce that St. Aloysius School is beginning enrollment for the Golden Eagles Club. The Golden Eagles Club will serve as an additional support system for the spiritual, academic, and social development of our students. Membership is open to any grandparent (or honorary grandparent or otherwise interested senior citizen) who wishes to be better connected to the lives of their grandchildren. Whether near or far from our campus, a grandparent’s role is valuable and appreciated by the St. Aloysius School community and we look forward to your involvement.
Members of the Golden Eagles Club will partner with the school to help support our students and the remarkable things they are doing, in and out of the classroom. The last few school years have certainly been a remarkable success. Our students excel academically and contribute to their local and larger community with servant hearts. Whether it is our middle school community groups volunteering at the Franciscan Kitchen, or our Governor’s Cup participants earning top state titles, your grandchildren are doing wonderful things at St. Aloysius School! We continue to expand our P.E & sports programs The best-practice curriculum's and technologies we offer our students, are advancing daily. All our accomplishments happen in a school where students are encouraged to know, serve, and love the Lord. It is a precious and unique journey.
We hope that you will join us in continuing to model the example of Christ by joining our Golden Eagles Club and contributing your time, talent, or resources to benefit the children of St. Aloysius School. Opportunities for involvement include volunteering in classrooms or school wide events, aiding with fundraising efforts, or generously contributing to new school-wide projects, and missions, including the revitalization or our Library/ Media Center. Grandparents Join Our Next Golden Eagles Meeting
Thursday, October 30 at 1:00 PM
We will be discussing the Breakfast with Santa Event. The committee for this event has met and have the plans ready for a great day of holiday fun for our children. While all the plans are underway we will need some volunteers to make the day run smoothly. This is the First Big Event for The Golden Eagles. Mark your calendars! The Golden Eagles will be welcoming Santa and Mrs. Claus for a festive Breakfast with Santa event on Sunday, December 7 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM.
Let's Start Sewing with The Golden Eagles
Student Sewing Class (Grades 4-8) The Golden Eagles are excited to offer a Beginner and Intermediate Sewing Class for St. Aloysius students in grades 4 through 8! Students will learn to make their own pajama pants or shorts. Class will be on Wednesdays, November 5, 12, and 19 from: 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM Spots are limited.
