We are proud to celebrate our Governor’s Cup students and teachers! Our middle school team recently competed at the district level and earned an impressive 4th place overall. They were also honored with the Hume Award, recognizing the school that demonstrated the highest level of sportsmanship throughout the competition. This award is especially meaningful, as it reflects our students truly being EAGLES—encouraging kindness and respect, and leading by God’s example as they share His love with others. Several students will advance to the regional competition, including Evy Griffin (3rd place) and Claire Peters (4th place) in Language Arts, and Sofia Armes (2nd place) in Arts and Humanities.

Earlier this month, our elementary Governor’s Cup team also competed and earned an outstanding 2nd place overall in their district competition! In addition to this team accomplishment, several of our elementary students placed in their individual events: In Composition, Tess Endler (2nd), Cole Troutman (3rd), and Nell Armstrong (4th); in Math, Beckham Pawley (3rd) and Lincoln Dalton (4th); in Science, Beckham Pawley (1st) and Connor Goyette (2nd); in Social Studies, Sebastian Fitzgerald (5th); in Language Arts, Amelia Jankowski (3rd); and in Arts and Humanities, Lidia Koch (3rd). All of our students' hard work and dedication were evident, and they represented our school so well throughout the competition.

A special thank you to Mrs. Singer, Mrs. DeLozier, and Mrs. Bilbro for leading and supporting our teams, as well as to all of the volunteers who helped make these experiences possible.
