Sacristans take care of the “behind the scenes” duties at Mass. Sacristans prepare the altar for Mass and also ensure that all other ministers are present for the liturgy.

We provide: setting up the hosts, wine, vessels & special items before Mass, assisting after Mass with clean-up of the altar and all vessels/cloths, and assisting the Ushers with securing the weekly collection.

Time Commitment: 15-25 active parish members are needed, with one needed at each Mass. Any confirmed member of the parish is welcome to join and training is provided. Sacristans are assigned to serve at Mass on a monthly rotation schedule.
