Ushers help ensure that the celebration of Mass runs smoothly for their parish family. We provide: a welcoming atmosphere to all who attend Mass, assist parishioners in finding a seat, tend to the comfort of the community, take up the collection(s), place money in bag & safe, have worship aids available when needed, hand out bulletins after Mass, collect worship aids from the pews after Mass, and help to keep overall order during Mass.

Time Commitment: active parish members are needed, arriving 15 minutes prior to Mass and staying 15 minutes afterward. Some light training is required to understand the pattern of taking up collection within the Church layout. Any member of the parish, 6th grade or older, with a parent ushering as well, is welcome to participate in this ministry. Ushers are assigned to serve on a rotation schedule.
