The Eucharist is one of the 3 sacraments of Initiation (the other two are Baptism and Confirmation). Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian life.  All other sacraments and church ministries point toward the Eucharist (From Understanding the Catechism, Liturgy and Sacraments.  RCL Benzinger, 1998).

Parishioners’ “First Communion” typically is celebrated in 2nd grade. Students must either be enrolled in PREP or attend our Parish School. First Communion is typically celebrated in late April. Adults needing to receive their First Communion need to coordinate that with the OCIA team.
