As we look for opportunities to streamline parish operations, we have discovered a technological tool to assist us in maintaining the integrity of our parishioner database. The tool, called My Own Church, is part of the services provided by ParishSOFT Family Suites, our database provider. My Own Church affords us the opportunity to conduct a parish census without having to go house-to-house to update our information. It automatically updates our records with any changes in information, thus eliminating the need for manual editing. This process requires that a member from each family verify the validity of personal information in the system and update any incorrect information, such as names, address, and email contact information. My Own Church also provides an opportunity for each family to monitor and verify personal contribution information, especially convenient when preparing tax documents.

The procedure for registering with My Own Church is quick and easy. It consists of signing into ParishSOFT Family Suite by clicking on the following link: https://louisville.parishsoftfamilysuite.com. When the screen refreshes, a sign-in box will appear. Click “New User” (under the sign-in box), complete the New User Registration Form, and submit your registration. We ask that registrations for My Own Church be
completed by January 5, 2026.
