These plans offer accommodations such as extended time, preferential seating, readers, scribes, 1:1 and small group instruction, etc. as appropriate for the individual student. We perform drills for fire, tornado, and earthquake scenarios in addition to lockdown/intruder drills on a regular basis. All exterior doors are kept locked during the school day and all visitors must be buzzed in and register in the school office. Each fall teachers have refresher courses on CPR and basic first aid. Classroom and lunch room volunteers, coaches, as well as field trip chaperones must also have a background check and safe environment training.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”What’s the timeline for the enrollment process?” tab_id=”1551764983670-814dbb15-d1f9″][vc_column_text]St. Aloysius has an open enrollment policy, meaning we accept applications at any time throughout the year. The process is as fast as you make it meaning it depends on how quickly all paperwork, records, and recommendations are submitted. For new students the following general timeline can be applied:
January—applications go online and kindergarten screenings take place
February—new families are officially accepted
April/May—tuition rates are set for the upcoming school year and accepted families are asked to submit a Tuition Agreement Form
June & July—new families are paired up with a ‘sponsor’ family in our Eagle Network. Summer play dates are announced and encouraged for students to get to know each other. Book bills and registration paperwork/fees are published and due back in August.
